Ana Lesser
Through languages we make sense of the world, and our world makes sense to us through language.
I have over five years of experience creating and localizing content for Latin American markets, ensuring quality, consistency and readability of editorial products to preserve and enrich brand identity.
I enjoy learning new things and people along the way. My experience reflects this, as I’ve worked as an English-Spanish translator, interpreter and editor for diverse industries, including arts and culture, legal, iGaming, sports, oil and gas, marketing and sales.
I have a Master’s Degree in New Media from The University of Leeds in the United Kingdom, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Science. I am currently an assoc. member in good standing of the Society of Translators and Interpreters of British Columbia (STIBC) and an appointed commissioner for taking affidavits in the province.
My passion for languages has fed my love for literature, travel, and culture. I believe that through languages we gain a sixth sense, another set of eyes that allow us to see, feel and understand the world in a different way. They are part of an infinite live cycle, through which we make sense of the world and the world makes sense to us. At Ana Translates although being a translation company we go beyond just language translation and strive to – heighten your senses through language.
